Adopted Beeswax

Beeswax is a magical substance, and it has an incredible effect on me. Working with it brings me joy, warmth and a longing for my childhood home.

I love creating original works of art dipping vintage materials like book covers and random common objects I find on antique and thrift stores, and even my own paintings and prints, on this amazing and precious substance.

Watching transform from a scented solid to liquid gold, and then back to a beautiful and silky layer that I can pour, mold and work with my hands makes me feel like an alchemist from ancient times, working with a sacred substance.
