Danita created a beautiful and intricate necklace using one of her mixed media original paintings featuring Alice in Wonderland.
I have a love affair with Alice in Wonderland, and I will try to create art with Lewis Carroll's characters at any chance I have. This time I took one of my original Alice paintings and placed a small reproduction on a 1" square metal setting, buffed and aged with a copper green patina.
I attached lots of metallic charms, also aged and buffed to make them look worn and old and combined them to make a beautiful necklace that you can wear on any occasion.
Topping everything at the end is a big natural stone faceted bead with matching colors and textures, making this piece of wearable art a very interesting accessory to your very own personal style.
