I found a beautiful dress illustration on a very old book. I was definitively a beauty. I wanted it to be the base for a new painting. So I went ahead and collaged the illustration on one of my papers and started to work.
The Empress head is a drawing by me, as everything else around her. Using watercolors, inks, acrylics and pages from old books, I created a beautiful image. The Empress is royal, and the music of her theme is behind her. Vintage musical sheets were used as background.
