These mermaids — and mermen — came out of the same sketchbook impulse that started all of these pieces: what happens when you stop trying to make something correct and just make something alive?
Each one is different. Some have crowns. Some have tails the color of deep water. One has a mustache and tattoos. They're all a little wild and completely their own.
