The queen bee is a mixed media painting I made some time ago, but it still one of my favorite creations. I love flowers, and I always fascinated with all the insects that buzz around them. I used to be very afraid of bees, until a fox taught me that if you are kind to them, that are harmless and sweet. And that's when I made the queen bee.
These earrings measure about 1 1/2 inches long, they are hand made by Danita (Me!). They have a fine print of one of my mixed media painting, The queen bee.
I used natural semi-precious stone beads in yellow and green to match the colors in the painting, with wire wrap metal works to embellish the beautiful beads.
They are a perfect accessory for the free spirited person, for someone who loves original things and appreciates owning something unique and one of a kind, made with love by the hands of an artist.
